So Alicia and I went into the city today and had such a great time! I ran into my other friends Lauryn and Danielle in the course of the day. Alicia and I got frozen bananas from the Bluth banana stand in Times Square and waited about two hours whereupon Jason Bateman and Will Arnett showed up! I caught a banana thrown to me by Will! We then went and met her uncle for lunch at the Paramount Pictures offices at 1515 Broadway. We took some photos on the 7th floor above Times Square and hung out in the office of Paramount’s president, eating lunch in the adjacent conference room. There was a casual table of awards, one or two of which were definitely Emmys, in the hallway. After eating and saying goodbye we went up to the Met to see the “Impressionism, Fashion, and Modernity” exhibit which I had wanted to visit for a long time. Alicia and I parted ways when she caught her 6:22 train. I then went to McDonald’s, got a disgusting bit of food, and ate on the porch of the 5th avenue library before catching the 8:35.

Such a good way to say goodbye to Alicia before she goes off to do the Disney business program for a semester!
